- Thai Peanut Chicken Flatbread Recipe
- If you aren’t using flatbreads yet, I encourage you to try them. You can use flatbreads as the base of a quick and healthy meal. Additionally, there are endless possibilities for toppings and meals. You can even make dessert flatbreads. My boys even like the small ones for tacos instead of corn or flour tortillas. Typically, they come in an oblong shape, large oval, and small oval. The large ovals serve two unless you’re serving teenage boys. And, if you have teenage boys you know what I’m talking about. The small ones are great for tacos and young kids....

- Caramilk Blondies
- Caramilk is a caramelised white chocolate, also known as blonde chocolate, made by Cadbury. It’s a favourite in Australia and New Zealand and a big hit in the UK when it finally came over – exciting stuff! I never knew I’d be a fan of golden blonde chocolate. It’s a similar taste to the old Caramac bars (which isn’t actually chocolate) if you remember those from childhood! I love the golden caramel flavour of Caramilk and I wanted to pair it with a simple brown sugar blondie to enhance that caramel sweetness for the ultimate sweet treat. I use part brown sugar, part white sugar so you get the tasty caramel hint in the blondie, but the Caramilk remains the star of the caramelised show! This easy blondie is deliciously chewy, which works perfectly with the chunks of chopped Caramilk inside....

- Chocolate Cherry Brownies
- These are the main ingredients and substitutions for chocolate cherry brownies. See recipe card below for full ingredients list and instructions. Butter is a great baking fat and adds a great rich flavor. If dairy free, use coconut oil instead. The chocolate chips are by far the most important ingredient. These brownies will taste like the type of chocolate used. Carefully select your chocolate chips to suit your taste. I prefer dark chocolate chips....

- Easy Twice-Baked Potatoes With BBQ Turkey
- This recipe for twice-baked potatoes is easy to make and tastes fantastic! I used sweet potatoes instead of regular white potatoes, which makes them paleo and gluten-free. They also taste great with any type of filling, but I prefer homemade paleo BBQ and ground turkey stuffing. Yum! The best thing about twice-baked potatoes is how fluffy they are. Every bite just melts in your mouth. I took this classic recipe and not only made it healthy but added protein and the best homemade BBQ sauce. What you have here is a complete meal that tastes like you have a personal chef! One of my favorite ways to make twice-baked potatoes is by swapping out the white potatoes for sweet potatoes. Not only does it taste sweeter, but it just looks more appetizing, too! All that fluffy sweet potato goodness is mixed with fiber-rich vegetables and lean ground turkey. Just one of these will fill you up. It tastes so good – and good for you too!....

- Homemade Pizza Dough
- Homemade pizza dough is so easy to make! This recipe creates the most perfect chewy, fluffy, and airy pizza crust. Use it for strombolis, cheesy bread sticks, garlic knots, and more! Trevor grew up eating pizza on Fridays with his family, and he wanted to carry out this tradition at home. We love ordering a meat lover's Sicilian pie from our local pizza restaurant, but naturally I wanted to discover how to make restaurant quality pizza at home. I literally spent months making...I don't even know, probably close to 100 pies to come up with the best pizza dough recipe EVER! Most recipes use the same basic ingredients, but I realized that it's less about the ingredients and more about the TECHNIQUE in which you make the dough and HOW you bake the crust. I'll be sharing my tips on how to create the best fluffy, crispy, and chewy dough that's so good you might as well open your own pizzeria....

- BraveTart’s Lofthouse-Style Cookies
- My daughter and her friends are in love with grocery store Lofthouse cookies. We recently made this upgraded homemade version as our celebratory New Year’s Eve dessert. She and a friend had the honor of icing and decorating them with sprinkles. The recipe is from the award winning baking book, BraveTart: Iconic American Desserts by Stella Parks, which I received as a holiday gift. Yay! (much more to come from this book, of course) We have tried other homemade versions but agree that this is the best one yet. The original recipe notes that these “cookies” are really pillowy, soft and tender cupcake tops coated with creamy frosting. In my opinion, calling them cookies adds to their appeal. I made half of the recipe (noted below)- perfect....

- 2 Ingredient Banana Ice Cream
- For when we want a quick and easy ice cream or snow, this 2 ingredient banana ice cream saves the day. It’s probably one of the easiest recipes we have, and its result is just amazing! We know it’s November but in northern Mexico it’s still a bit warm so we were in the mood for something cool and light. Nothing better for that than a banana ice cream that only has banana and almond butter, yes, only those two things. The almond butter can actually be replaced by any other ingredient, preferably without unsweetened, such as cocoa powder or coffee....

- Brookies Recipe
- Today’s my oldest son’s birthday! He’s twelve. I can’t believe he’s twelve years old. It seems like yesterday that I brought this bright-eyed bundle of joy home from the hospital. Lincoln was the best and easiest baby ever. I said while I was pregnant that I’d rather have a bad pregnancy and a good baby than the other way. I was blessed with an easy pregnancy, bad delivery, and an easy baby. Two out of three isn’t bad. We were planning his birthday party when he told me he wanted a ‘cake’ that was a brownie on the bottom and chocolate chip cookie on top ‘cooked together’, he said. Both my boys are little foodies and give me suggestions all the time for the blog. I’ll have to say some of them are great, some crazy but doable, and some downright impossible! I didn’t have the heart to tell Lincoln that what he was describing was called a Brookie and it had already been ‘invented’....

- Lobster Ravioli Sauce
- For the best sauce to serve with lobster ravioli, try this easy recipe. This garlic cream sauce with browned butter is so rich, fancy, & decadent. This homemade sauce cooks up quickly and as the shallots and garlic infuse flavor into the browned butter, the kitchen smells amazing. The nutty brown butter then gets some heavy cream and a touch of magic, brandy. Once it comes together it turns into a beautiful light pink creamy sauce perfect for lobster ravioli. Wondering why this is the perfect sauce to serve with lobster ravioli? Well, it is simple and it complements the rich flavor of the delicate shellfish filling. I wanted something creamy to serve with lobster ravioli. I didn’t want pesto or a tomato sauce. I tried browned butter sauces, lemon sauces, and cream sauces. I liked them all but wanted more. So to make the best easy sauce to toss with lobster ravioli, the perfect combination of browned butter, cream, and garlic is my all-time favorite. I think my family agrees. Both my husband and Enzo fell in love with this sauce so much that Enzo literally scraped the plate clean to get every drop of sauce. This browned butter and creamy lobster ravioli sauce recipe call for only a few ingredients. To make the best sauce use good quality ingredients that are full-fat, do not use low-fat dairy when making this pasta sauce. Salted butter, heavy whipping cream, and freshly shaved parmesan create the creaminess that makes this lobster ravioli sauce so comforting. A few spices and aromatics like shallots and garlic bring in a sharp bite to cut the richness of the cream sauce. For a decadent touch, the brandy is the final touch that sets this sauce over the top. This sauce recipe goes well with any brand of store-bought lobster ravioli. So whatever your favorite is, this recipe for a cream sauce pairs perfectly. It is a good sauce for all the common brands of lobster ravioli like Costco, Trader Joe’s, Rana, and more. If you love seafood ravioli from restaurants like Carrabba’s, Olive Garden, or Red Lobster, this sauce recipe is so much better. This creamy garlic sauce is good with shrimp, crab, and butternut squash ravioli....

Today’s post is a little nostalgic for me, these strawberry napoleons are one of the first things I ever baked for my husband. Looking back on it, I was so proud of this dessert. Proud and so pleased with how fancy and elegant these fresh spring strawberry napoleons are. They sound exotic, right? And they taste it too. They’re light and fresh, but oh so indulgent. I’ve been making them ever since, rightly so, since they’ve earned a spot on the list of my husband’s favorite strawberry desserts....
